9/20/2017 Johnny Cueto, SF, P
Johnny Cueto allowed two runs on seven hits and four walks in 6.2 innings as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies 4-3 on Tuesday. Cueto struck out six, ending the game with a 4.49 ERA and 1.42 WHIP on the season.

Analysis: Cueto was in line for a victory after exiting with a 3-2 lead the Giants' bullpen couldn't hold. He still delivered his longest outing in four starts since returning from an extended absence caused by a blister issue, and his health doesn't appear to be an issue going forward. The two-time All-Star does draw a tough matchup next time out, as he's slated to face the Diamondbacks in Arizona on Monday.

Analysis: The rookie hasn't had a great September, having gone 0-2 with a 5.95 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP in four starts this month. On the positive side, Marquez did miss a few more bats in this outing after notching just three strikeouts over his previous two starts.

Analysis: Posey showed his health his fine after sitting out Sunday's series finale with Arizona due to a sore toe. Though his power has almost completely dried up in the second half, the star catcher is hitting .339 (19 for 56) over his last 15 games.

Analysis: Though his four-game streak of recording multiple hits came to an end, Pence delivered the game's biggest knock by slamming a go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth inning. Though he's gone deep just twice since Aug. 12, the energetic veteran is a scorching 11 for 21 with six RBIs and five runs scored on the Giants' current homestand.
